James Sanders on Scripturalising
[t]he observation that all Early Jewish literature was written more or less Scripturally has always been operative in the study of the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, as well as Philo, Josephus, and the Second Testament. But the Scrolls have enhanced the observation in ways that make it one of the major factors in the study of all Early Jewish literature.
